Pawzone was inspired by our cats Simba, Kimba & our dog Bella. They have become Pawzone stars featuring as the first Pawzone Pets of the Month and also in our Member Pets Gallery You will recognise them as the two cream burmese and the black poodle cross - so cute!
I had always wanted a dog (that’s me Annette) and my husband (John) was adamant that if I got a dog the two of us would just have to move out! He's cat mad! Well our son James and I fell in love at the local pet shop & within a few days Bella moved in and quickly became a new member of the family. So you can see our house really did become a Pawzone . . . so to speak!
To cut a long story short, she & I never moved out & guess who is besotted with the dog … John! How many times have you heard that story?
Five years on & Simba & Bella get on really well, we often find them curled up sleeping together. Kimba on the other hand just manages to tolerate the “black ball of fluff”.
Yes, we are “passionate about our pets”, in fact our friends and family sometimes think we are “quite mad”, but hey that’s ok, we know that we are not alone!
